"E-Health" type websites- these internet-based websites that claim to have the "best plans and prices" available to you...Please take the time to try and review these sites closely; do they really have your best interests at heart, or are you just another name/number they have added to their list? With an Independent Agent you can pick up the phone and conatct us to discuss in detail your Family's individual needs, and we will base the best plans/Carriers available to your specific situation (at the same pricing available to you with NO AGENT SUPPORT FROM THESE "E HEALTH" WEBSITES!
2. The CAPTIVE AGENT only has access to ONE carrier, and they can only show you policies from ONE company (ex. State Farm, Farmer's, Allstate, Costco, etc.). With dozens of different companies and hundreds of different plans to choose from, how can you know if the Captive Agent is selling you a policy with the best coverage available for the lowest premiums? The Captive Agent's job is to keep you from switching, even though there may be several other policies available to you that offer much better coverage for less premiums!
3. The PHONE ROOM is a boiler room type operation that employs hundreds of sales people with one agenda: get you to buy something. They don't care what plan you get, as long as they get you to buy something; anything. Most of these Reps have only a few days worth of product knowledge, and they will usually direct you to the cheapest "garbage" plan offered because it's easy to sell a low price.
